We’re pretty much convinced by now that vegetables are really important for our health. I love vegetables… not all kinds, but a wide enough variety to make me feel pretty good that by eating plenty of them I’m “doing the right thing.”
So, I was quite surprised to run across an article on the web that made me sit up and take notice. I learned that some of my favorite veggies… and maybe yours too… are on a “don’t eat” list when it comes to certain common health conditions!
I have to admit, I was pretty stunned. This is important information for all of us. If you or a loved one gets heartburn, takes blood thinning drugs, suffers from kidney stones, gout, or allergies, has any inflammatory GI issues, wants to lose weight, or has an under-active thyroid, there are certain vegetables that will be downright bad for you.
