I really do enjoy cold-brew coffee when I can find it, but only a few places around town are offering it. Haven’t wanted the hassle of making it at home— yet it’s still summer, and I find myself looking into making cold-brew at home again. Here’s what I’ve found:

If you have a Trader Joes near you, they have a grew cold-brew concentrate that tastes great and it extremely convenient. If you don’t have one nearby, here’s an amazon link to order it. While it seems a bit pricey, consider that you can make about 10 cold-brew coffee drinks out of this single bottle of concentrate. It tastes incredibly smooth and keep in mind, cold-brew can have a much higher caffeine content, so don’t over mix the concentrate. Just add about 4 parts hot or cold water to 1 part concentrate and you’ll be good to go.

When it comes to making cold-brew at home, there’s some good options as well. The following article is a good resource for making cold-brew at home just like the pros. I was also particularly surprised to learn some facts about cold vs hot coffee I never knew…
