Oh no, my daughter Sophia just turned 16. Option A, tell her she has to get a job, save her money and help her buy a car she can afford months or years later when she’s got enough dough or Option B, help her get a super low monthly payment for a new car right now–and then drive herself to her new job.
We did a lot of research and ended up getting a Ford Escape on a 36 month lease and got the payment down into her $300/month price range. Love it! Big smiles, independence… priceless.
