I’m rarely thirsty except occasionally after a high salt content meal, but I’ve been forcing myself to drink water throughout the day because I’ve read so much about the need to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. After yet another day of forced drinking I decided to check around the Web for varied opinions.

Surprise, surprise… I found an article written by a Pediatrician who is also a professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Instead of supporting that we should drink till we’re floating, he offered scientifically backed evidence that totally goes against the commonly held belief of drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.
