Nail health is a strong indicator of our overall health. The way your nails look can even be a symptom of a specific condition such as diabetes, psoriasis, heart, liver or lung problems, IBS, connective tissue diseases and even AIDS.
Do you have white spots, dimples in your nails, brown spots, ridges or stripes? These and many other characteristics can by symptoms that your health is at risk.
This is such an important topic, I thought rather than attempt to describe the way your nails may look and compare it to health conditions, I chose to give you a link to a well respected medical site that shows photos of fingernails and the health conditions they indicate.
Guys or gals, take a close look at your fingernails (without nail polish – of course) and get yourself to a doctor if you see any nail appearance that could signal one of the health problems in the link below.
